| GLENN
H. RIPA, ESQ., is of counsel to the firm. Mr. Ripa has vast
experience in the areas of federal and state tax law and
both civil and criminal litigation. Mr. Ripa's practice
includes corporate and individual taxpayer representation,
litigation in federal and state tax courts, plaintiff and
defendant representation in commerical litigation, debtor
and creditor representation in bankruptcy proceedings, and
criminal defense representation in federal and state prosecutions.
Mr. Ripa is a graduate of the State
University of New York at Stony Brook and Fordham University
School of Law. He is a member of both the New York and New
Jersey Bars and is admitted to practice in the United States
District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of
New York and the District of New Jersey, the United States
Tax Court, and all state and local courts in New York and
New Jersey. Mr. Ripa is a member of the American Bar Association,
the ABA Committee on Civil and Criminal Tax Penalties, the
New York County Lawyers' Association, and the Assocation
of Former Special Agents of the Internal Revenue Association.
He has fifteen years experience in government service, including
the United States Treasury Department, the Internal Revenue
Service, where he served in a variety of positions including
Revenue Officer, Appeals Officer/Appellate Conferee, Special
Agent, and Group Manager. Mr. Ripa also served as an Assistant
District Attorney with the Brooklyn District Attorney's
Office, Rackets Bureau. Mr. Ripa has been in private practice
since 1988 and has served as a legal analyst on various
television programs such
as ABC Primetime Live.
